↗02 The proof chain
A company answer is only trustworthy when the entity, claim, source and future state remain connected.
Claim verification
Send an AI-generated answer in plain language. CompanyProof resolves the entity, checks material claims and returns supported, contradicted or unverified verdicts with corrections.
See how verification works“Acme Ltd is active.
Incorporated in January 2020.”
Evidence ledger
Every factual claim gets a persistent record containing the published value, source context, retrieval time, corrections and verification ID.
Explore the evidence ledgerEvidence monitoring
Choose verified company fields from a saved evidence record. Daily checks compare the current source value with the finding you relied on, keeping the original proof and the detected change together.
Monitor saved evidenceCurrently supports legal status, registered name, registration number, incorporation date, VAT number and legal form. Source update times vary. A failed check is flagged for retry.
Check this claim every 24 hours. A source update can flag the finding that relied on it.
COMPANYPROOF IN PRACTICE
From a company question to evidence you can act on. Watch three everyday workflows, explained step by step.
Illustrative workflows with example data and AI-generated narration. Coverage varies by company and jurisdiction.
Your AI has an answer. Can you prove it? Here are three ways CompanyProof helps.
First, check an AI-generated company profile before publishing it. Paste the claims, identify the company and country, and select Generate answer. CompanyProof resolves the entity before checking the facts.
The results distinguish three outcomes. Supported means the available record backs the claim. Contradicted means the record shows something different. Unverified means there is not enough evidence. In this example, the incorporation year needs correcting, and the revenue claim needs a supporting source.
Second, investigate a supplier before onboarding. Ask about the company, its directors, owners, and available financial records. CompanyProof brings the available evidence into one review.
Review the legal identity and director records, then look for gaps. Here, ownership is only partly evidenced, and there is no recent financial filing. Keep the evidence for your team's review. Your team remains responsible for the business decision.
Third, monitor supported company fields after the initial check. The verified claim stays linked to its source, so a later change can be identified while the original evidence is preserved.
In this example, the company status changes from active to dissolved. The earlier claim becomes stale. A webhook can notify your application and route the change for review. Compare the new source value with the original evidence before acting.
Ask the question. Check the evidence. Keep the proof. Try CompanyProof. These workflows use illustrative example data.
03 Architecture
One connection resolves the company, checks the claims, returns the evidence and watches for change.
A simple example
Ask about a company and get an answer backed by official records. Save the proof. Enable monitoring to hear when that fact changes.
What is Monzo’s registered company name?
Monzo Bank Limited.
That is the name listed at Companies House, the UK company register.
Optional monitoring
CompanyProof checks the name against the registry and flags your saved answer if it has changed.
Illustrative alert, not an actual change to Monzo’s name.
