Service terms

These terms apply to CompanyProof subscriptions and paid pilots supplied by Global Data Intelligence Limited. An order form or enterprise agreement overrides conflicting provisions in these terms.

Service and acceptable use

CompanyProof compares supported company assertions with available company data and registry evidence. Customers must use the service lawfully, protect credentials, and must not resell, scrape, reverse engineer, or redistribute data unless their agreement expressly permits it. The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms.

Subscriptions and payment

Subscription fees are billed in advance through Stripe and renew monthly until cancelled. Customers can manage eligible payment methods and cancellation through the Stripe Customer Portal; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Self-serve plans pause verification at the included claim-credit allowance and do not incur automatic overage fees. A higher allowance, applicable taxes, or expanded data rights require an upgrade or separate agreement. Paid pilots are one-time, non-refundable implementation engagements unless an order states otherwise.

Data and verification limits

Coverage, update frequency, and available fields vary by jurisdiction and source. An unsupported verdict means the service did not return sufficient evidence; it is not proof that a claim is false. Customers remain responsible for decisions made using the output.

Availability and liability

Service levels apply only where stated in an order. To the maximum extent permitted by law, indirect and consequential losses are excluded and aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the affected service during the preceding twelve months. These draft terms require legal approval before public launch.
